Best Poster Award ACM Mobicom 2023 – Kien Ngo

Kien Ngo has been granted the Best Poster Award in the The 29th Annual International Conference OnMobile Computing And Networking celebrated in Madrid 2-6 October 2023, for his poster “A Novel Intelligent Management System Architecture for Hybrid VLC/RF Systems in Smart Retail Environment”. In this poster, he proposed an architecture that integrates an intelligent handover controller, energy harvesting module, adaptive resource management, and edge tracking and localization. This architecture significantly improves smart retail operations by providing uninterrupted connectivity, targeted marketing, optimized store layouts, and enhanced user experiences.
