Women and Girls in Science 2022

The Canary Agency of Research, Innovation and Information Society (Gran Canaria, Spain) has organized the program “Mujer y Niña en la Ciencia” (Women and Girls in Science), as part of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. In order to achieve full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls, and further achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, the United Nations General Assembly declared 11 February as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The goal of this activity is get to know closely and chat with Canarian researchers to make visible the value, importance and need to promote scientific and technological vocations in the girls and women of the Canary Islands. Our ESR Behnaz Majlesein (LightBee) will be part of the event.
